Location: Quayside, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK
This photo was taken next to the Sage on a spring evening in 2018. I remember this being a very tranquil evening, I was the only person at this location, no cars racing around, not a cloud in sight, just total stillness.
I decided upon this angle as I wanted to capture the bulbous architecture of the Sage that fit in nicely with the curvature of the Tyne Bridge and the smaller arches of the High Level Bridge behind. As the sun dropped below the horizon giving the lower part of the sky this very subtle orange hue.
