The North East coast his home to some of the best beaches and castles and this one is definitely up there. Dunstanburgh Castle is a 14th century castle situated between the villages of Craster and Embleton.

This was one of the most incredible sunrises I've ever seen. After a walk in the early morning darkness from Craster, I arrived at Embleton bay just before the sun started to rise. As the tide was coming in I found the composition I was after next to a rocky wall which was almost pointing towards where the sun would rise. As the sun started to come up behind the castle, it lit the clouds above into a vivid red that then reflected into the North Sea below.
