Location: Sutton Bank, North Yorkshire, UK

Sutton Bank is a breathtaking vantage point overlooking the Vale of York and the Vale of Mowbray. You can also catch a glimpse of Gormire Lake to the left.

This was a location I'd been wanting to photograph for some time, I was just waiting for the right conditions. I wanted to capture the landscape about an hour before sunset so that the descending sun would disperse its golden light across the vast expanse of fields and woodland below.

This photo is printed on the latest Fuji Crystal Archive paper, Professional Lustre finish paper for more vivid colour, improved highlight detail and brilliant image quality. Lustre paper is a semi-gloss paper with vibrant colours.
